Torino coach Giampiero Ventura has confirmed Matteo Darmian will move to Manchester United.
Torino have agreed an €18m deal for Darmian to join Man United and the 25-year-old is expected to fly to Manchester this week to complete his medical.
Speaking about Darmian’s move to Old Trafford, Ventura insisted he would be living out a dream by playing in the Champions League (so long as United win the play-off).
“Darmian will play in the Champions League with Manchester United,” he told Sky Italia.
“It’s a dream for him.”

With the deal wrapped up, an announcement could happen on Thursday from United confirming the deal and if everything goes smoothly, Darmian will be part of the travelling squad for the pre-season tour of USA which flies out on Monday.
Signing a new right-back was one of Van Gaal’s priorities this summer and that is now a medical away from being complete.
Next on his list will be a midfielder who can in the No.6 role as well as a new centre-back and potentially a striker, so there is still lots of work to do in this window.
