New Manchester United signing Memphis Depay believes the club can challenge on all fronts next season.
The Dutchman, who came to Man United from PSV Eindhoven, has confidence in his new team and is looking forward to competing at home and in Europe.
When asked what he would like from his time at United, Depay simply answered: “Trophies,” which is exactly what the club’s fans wanted to hear.
Memphis is certainly not short of confidence but Louis van Gaal will be keen to keep his feet on the ground at Old Trafford.
After two successive years without any silverware, patience is starting to grow thin amongst the United faithful but Memphis has made it very clear that he is looking to put an end to this spell.
With a few more signings, there is no reason why United can’t be up there at the end of next season. Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos, Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger and Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin have all been strongly linked with moves to Manchester.
