German manager Joachim Low has heaped praise on Bastian Schweinsteiger following confirmation that the player will be moving to Manchester United.
Schweinsteiger captained Low’s Germany side to World Cup glory in 2014 and the pair have established a good relationship.
Schweinsteiger has spent his entire career at Bayern Munich but it seems as if Louis van Gaal has persuaded him to make the next step in his career.
Man United fans are already looking forward to Schweinsteiger joining up with the rest of the squad and Low’s comments will simply add to the excitement:
Joachim #Löw: "@BSchweinsteiger is an absolute leader and world-class player, who can make his mark on any team." @ManUtd

United have bought a player who provides both quality and experience, two things the side desperately given they are currently going through a transition.
Low has just reaffirmed what most United fans already know. Schweinsteiger, 30, is a fantastic footballer but he will also make a significant impact in the dressing room. United supporters will be hoping that the German can, indeed, ‘make his mark.’
