Bayern Munich youngster Joshua Kimmich has confirmed that Bastian Schweinsteiger will leave the German side this summer.
Schweinsteiger has been linked with a move to Manchester United for a number of weeks and the club look to have stepped up their efforts in recent days.
Bayern and Man United reportedly agreed a deal for the German on Friday and he is expected in Manchester shortly having missed an official pre-season presentation at the Allianz Arena.
Kimmich, perhaps accidentally, confirmed the news that all United fans wanted to hear.

What a signing Schweinsteiger will be. A dominant presence in midfield, the player will inject a huge amount of quality into Louis van Gaal’s squad.
The hope for supporters is that United don’t stop there. Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin is reportedly set for a move to Old Trafford and signing both would send a real statement of intent to the rest of the Premier League.
