Manchester United have officially announced the signing of Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich.
The German is a Bayern man through and through having spent his entire career at the club but he has decided to seek a new challenge at Man United.
He will bring a wealth of experience to United’s midfield having won practically everything there is to win with Bayern and the national side.
Schweinsteiger has signed a three-year deal at Old Trafford reportedly worth around £130,000-a-week.

It is a hugely exciting time to be a United fan, with the club also set to complete the signing of Morgan Schneiderlin by the time they leave for the pre-season tour of the United States.
Schweinsteiger is United’s third official signing of the summer, with Memphis Depay and Matteo Darmian also joining earlier this summer.
Louis van Gaal’s squad is shaping up nicely and there is a real sense that United can challenge on all fronts next season.
