Manchester United make their way to San Jose for second leg of pre-season tour

by Sam Peoples

Manchester United’s time in Seattle on this summer’s pre-season tour of USA has come to an end and the squad is now making its way to San Jose.

With one win under their belt already, Man United have two upcoming games against San Jose Earthquakes and FC Barcelona within the next five days in what is set to be a busy week.

Four new signings joined up with the squad for pre-season and U21s midfielder Sean Goss earned himself a call-up, so the early stages of the tour have very much been about helping them settle into the team.

Memphis Depay is one player who has immediately settled down well in his new surroundings and he posted this picture of him and some United team-mates on their way to San Jose:

Bye Seattle hello San Jose ✈️

Next up for United is a game against San Jose Earthquakes (kick-off 4am on Wednesday 22 July) before the biggest of the tour against FC Barcelona (kick-off 9pm on Saturday 25 July).

After those two games, a match against Paris St Germain awaits on 29 July in Chicago to conclude the pre-season tour.
