Match Preview: Manchester United vs San Jose Earthquakes

Manchester United take on San Jose Earthquakes at the Avaya Stadium in California on Tuesday night looking to build on their 1-0 win against Club America last time out.

Kick-off is at 8.05pm local time, meaning those in the United Kingdom are in for an early 4.05am start.

Louis van Gaal has confirmed that the same teams that started each half against Club America will play against San Jose, with the only difference being Sam Johnstone will play the full 90 minutes.

David de Gea and Antonio Valencia have been ruled out of the clash through injury.

Memphis Depay 20

It should be an exciting game and another chance to see the new signings in action.

However, van Gaal will remind his players that they must get the job done. He will accept nothing less than perfection during the match and the likes of Memphis Depay and Wayne Rooney will know they will have to put a shift in.
