Manchester United’s Angel di Maria faces an uncertain future at the club and with Paris St Germain rumours refusing to go away, a potential move to France continues to gather pace.
That being said, there is certainly some confusion over the reports emerging from different sources.
beIN Sports in Qatar say negotiations have broken down between PSG and Man United which is quite interesting because Nasser Al-Khelaifi, PSG’s CEO, is also CEO of beIN Sports. Take from that what you will.
If you can speak Arabic, here’s a clip of the story from beIN Sports:

In contrast, RMC in France say talks have not stopped between PSG and United and report that a €65m offer is on the table for Di Maria, leaving it in United’s hands.
At the start of the summer, Di Maria leaving United seemed implausible and strong performances at the Copa America certainly filled him with some confidence but after hobbling off with an injury, his future has been at the centre of a transfer saga and there’s no smoke without fire.
Reports were initially dismissed by United fans but they continue to come on a daily basis now and the idea of Di Maria leaving is now a possibility. What happens is still everyone’s guess but until either the player or Louis van Gaal absolutely confirms what is going on, fans will have to continue following the trail in the press.
