All three youngsters, aged 16, featured regularly for Man United’s U18s last season and have been rewarded for their excellent progress by being signed up by the club.
Williams was a rock at centre-back for the U18s alongside club captain Axel Tuanzebe and at one stage in the season helped the U18s go over nine hours without conceding a goal, which is a phenomenal achievement regardless of the age group.
One of Dearnley’s stand-out moments of the season was his goal against Bury in the FA Youth Cup at Old Trafford which was enough to secure a 1-0 win on the day.
Gribbin confirmed he had signed a four-year contract and that is believed to be a one-year scholarship agreement which is followed by a three-year professional contract due to his age, so it’s likely both Williams and Dearnley signed similar deals.
It’s excellent news to see the club securing the futures of some top talents from our academy sides and with any luck they will all be pushing for a place in United’s first-team in the next few years.
