Manchester United transfer roundup: Timothy Fosu-Mensah signs three-year professional contract

Here is the latest Manchester United transfer news and gossip.

There was fantastic news on Wednesday as it was revealed that Timothy Fosu-Mensah has signed a three-year professional contract at Old Trafford.

The highly regarded youngster joins Callum Gribbin, Roshaun Williams and Zach Dearnley in committing his future to Man United this week.

Angel di Maria is close to joining Paris St Germain and has reportedly agreed a contract with the French champions. Despite the fact he has only been at the club for a year, United’s club record signing looks like he is leaving before his United career even got started.

Pedro and Thomas Muller could also be on there way to Old Trafford, if you believe reports from Sport.es and Sport BILD, respectively.

The former is said to have all but confirmed his move to United while Louis van Gaal has reportedly made the latter his No.1 transfer target. Transfer targets, transfer targets everywhere.

Finally, the Manchester Evening News claim that United would be willing to let Ashley Young leave if a suitable offer comes in. It’s a surprising stance given his turnaround in form last term but the Englishman only has a year left on his current deal.
