Sean Goss has become the latest Manchester United academy graduate to make his debut for the club under Louis van Gaal.
The 19-year-old midfielder was brought on for Michael Carrick for the last ten minutes of the game and it was a fantastic moment for him.
Goss was a surprise inclusion in Man United’s squad for the pre-season tour and he’ll be over the moon to have made his debut for the club.
Being in and around United’s first-team training on the tour alongside the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin, Carrick and Ander Herrera will have done Goss the world of good.

It was very fitting that Goss replaced Carrick because he has earned comparisons with the 33-year-old veteran midfielder thanks to his style of play.
Goss won’t be getting too much time with the first-team this season but simply being in and around them, learning from them on the training ground, will help Goss develop so much faster than simply being with the U21s.
