Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata is, like the rest of us, looking forward to the start of the new Premier League season.
Mata had a hugely impressive campaign last time out for Man United and will be hoping for more of the same. The Spaniard shone when he played in a wide right position, bagging goals at Anfield and against City, which surprised a lot of people as it is not his natural position.
The 27-year-old was deployed in a similar role on United’s pre-season tour and once again seemed to be on top form.
Mata was one of the stand-out players during the International Champions Cup and will be looking to carry his good form into the new season.

With Tottenham Hotspur first up in just over a week, Mata is expected to continue his run in the side.
After notching nine goals last season, the ex-Chelsea man has openly stated his intent to make it to double figures this season.
If Mata can replicate the form he showed during United’s impressive run of results last season, there is no reason he can’t be one of the Reds best players this season.
