Manchester United are adamant that David de Gea will not leave for Real Madrid unless Sergio Ramos moves the other way despite reports to the contrary, according to MailOnline’s Mike Keegan.
AS claimed on Saturday that Louis van Gaal was ready to sell De Gea following his disappointing performance in the 2-0 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain.
De Gea has been the subject of a saga that has dragged on all summer and it looked like the situation had been close to being resolved.
However, Keegan has now insisted that Man United are still playing hardball over the keeper:
Told United's stance on David de Gea is unchanged. #mufc

Meanwhile, there have also been conflicting reports regarding Ramos.
Some publications had claimed that the Spaniard had changed his mind about leaving Madrid, while others maintained that he still wants to move to United.
It’s all very confusing and not ideal considering United begin their Premier League campaign against Tottenham Hotspur in a matter of days. Supporters will be hoping the futures of both players are clearer soon.
