Angel di Maria has arrived in Doha to undergo his Paris St-Germain medical.
The Manchester United winger is set to complete a £44.5m move this summer, pending a successful medical, less than 12 months after moving to Old Trafford.
Di Maria and his family are believed to have been unhappy for some time in Manchester and a move to PSG was always on the cards following their interest in in him last year after his performances for Real Madrid and then Argentina at the World Cup.
It would represent a significant loss for United to sell Di Maria for £44.5m given that he cost a club record £59.7m last summer but keeping an unhappy player at the club is never an ideal situation for any team.

Di Maria’s exit doesn’t look like it will have too much of a negative impact on the quality of the side as Louis van Gaal has identified Pedro Rodriguez from FC Barcelona as an immediate replacement.
That will fans will some confidence because in recent years the club had failed to replace players quickly enough which hindered the quality of the squad.
Hopefully Di Maria’s transfer can be finalised quickly and United can move on from what was, overall, an extremely disappointing transfer.
