Manchester United’s Old Trafford megastore has removed all of it’s Angel Di Maria shirts in light of the winger’s imminent departure from the club.
The Argentine is keen to leave Manchester after struggling in his first season due to a combination of injuries and personal issues.
Di Maria flew to Doha yesterday to complete a medical with Paris Saint-Germain in preparation for a £44.5m move to the French club.

Di Maria’s conduct during this entire saga has severely damaged his reputation as a footballer. After a strong start that was halted by a hamstring injury, the Argentine has shown nothing but flimsiness and indifference at United despite the club’s best efforts to facilitate the winger’s progression at the club.
Louis van Gaal is unfairly drawing criticism for letting one of the finest attacking footballers in the world leave after less than a year; while the Dutchman must accept some liability, the main reason behind this unfortunate sequence of events is the Argentine’s failure to acclimatise to English football and subsequent desire to leave after one hit and miss season.
However, as a large number of Di Maria shirts make their way to the dump near Stretford, the megastore is likely to be selling the shirt of a new signing soon, as talk surrounding Pedro’s future refuses to die down.
