Ilias Moutha-Sebtaoui settling into life with Manchester United

Not much has been heard about Ilias Moutha-Sebtaoui since it was announced back in May that a deal had been agreed to bring him to Manchester United.

The 16-year-old is actually already settling into life as a Man United player. He has already started training with his new team-mates and is enjoying himself at United having completed the move.

Like Adnan Januzaj and Andreas Pereira, Moutha-Sebtaoui made the move to Manchester from Belgium and if their career paths are anything to go by, he’ll be hoping for big things at United.

In terms of goalkeeping opportunities, he’ll get plenty with the academy sides and how fast he progresses through the ranks entirely depends on how well he fares.

It’s good to see another talented youngster in United’s colours having taken the decision to join the academy and we’re hoping that Moutha-Sebtaoui can make the most of the opportunities he now has in front of him in Manchester.

With David de Gea potentially on his way out, Victor Valdes definitely leaving, Sam Johnstone looking likely to go out on loan and Anders Lindegaard’s future in limbo, it’s an interesting time for goalkeepers at the club.

That uncertainty will fill youngsters like Moutha-Sebtaoui with more drive and determination to become United’s first choice goalkeeper in the future.
