Angel di Maria has now arrived at a medical centre in Doha to undergo his medical examinations ahead of his move to Paris St-Germain.
The Argentinian’s original medical reportedly had to be delayed because he was tired after a long flight but it looks like it will all now go ahead.
Pending a successful medical, Di Maria will then complete a £44.5m move to PSG and put an end to his Manchester United career after less than 12 months at the club.
Having repeatedly said he wanted to stay and fight for his place at United, Di Maria has instead decided that his future lies elsewhere and that change of heart has understandably frustrated fans.

Di Maria’s future is very much tied into United’s pursuit of Pedro Rodriguez from FC Barcelona and a move for the Spaniard is expected once Di Maria has completed his exit from Old Trafford.
Every United fan was ready to be patient with Di Maria and support him this season but it wasn’t to be. He was clearly unhappy with life in Manchester so it is certainly the right choice to sell him and he’ll have to go down as one of the most disappointing signings the club has ever made, especially given he cost a record £59.7m.
