Manchester United’s home kit went on sale early in USA shops and the third kit has been spotted on sale in Dubai. Can we add Memphis Depay‘s shirt for next season to the list of early releases?
An Adidas shop in Leeds has put Memphis shirts on sale with the No.9 on its back.
Memphis wore No.9 during the pre-season tour and a No.9 training kit this week ahead of the Tottenham Hotspur game, so everything certainly points towards that, and now this picture shows some kits on sale with the number already printed
Most people expected Memphis to take up the No.7 shirt which Angel di Maria will leave behind and reports suggest he has specifically asked Louis van Gaal to let him have the famous number, so maybe there is more to it all than meets the eye.

However, everything at this stage has pointed towards Memphis getting the No.9 shirt but it’s still not set in stone.
Unless there’s a huge surprise in store, Memphis will take either the No.7 or No.9 shirt at United and as the numbers have to be submitted by midday tomorrow, it won’t be long before the official numbers are confirmed by the club.
