Pedro Rodriguez’s move to Manchester United has accelerated to the point where it is now considered a matter of time before it is completed.
With a €30m release clause, Man United know negotiations will be relatively straight forward in that sense and as Pedro is keen to move in order to find regular first-team football, everything is in place for his move to Old Trafford.
On Wednesday evening, Barcelona took on AS Roma in their annual Joan Gamper trophy and there is every chance it was Pedro’s last performance for the Spanish side before he moves to United.
Pedro came on for the last 30 minutes, having been left on the bench for the start, and United fans were certainly happy to see him in action:
Big roar for Pedro at Camp Nou & chants of 'Pedro!' He's dreaming of pie n chips on Chester Rd. Put him on a plane… pic.twitter.com/exPVcOM8c3

Louis van Gaal could sell Angel di Maria and replace him with Pedro within a couple of days and, as a fan, you can’t ask for more than that.
Pedro may be a slight step down in terms of the quality of the individual but as a team player, the Barcelona star offers far more than Di Maria ever could and that multi-functionality is something Van Gaal loves.
