Manchester United have until 11pm tomorrow to submit their Champions League squad for the qualifying stage of the competition.
Following their submission to UEFA, they are then allowed to add one new addition to their squad list up to 11pm on August the 17th.
Man United will face Club Brugge in their Champions League qualifier, with the first leg being played at Old Trafford on either the 18/19 August, while the return leg at Jan Breydel stadium in Belgium will be played on either the 25/26 August.
With the No.9 jersey still vacant following Radamel Falcao’s departure, United are rumoured to be interested in recruiting a big name player to fill the shirt, with Barcelona’s Pedro rumoured as a potential suitor.
One thing that is certain however, is that United need to recruit both some pace and flair before they begin their Champions League campaign, as it is likely that Club Brugge will sit back and park the bus, something United may find hard to penetrate with their current options.
Any business that is under way needs to be completed quickly so that United are at maximum strength for their first season in the Champions league since 2014.
