Manchester United’s new away and third kits are set to be released on the 14 August and 27 August respectively.
United’s new sponsorship deal with Adidas will see the German manufacturer take over from the club’s 13 year stint with Nike, and produce the iconic red and white strip for at least the next ten years in a deal worth £750m.
It is United’s first Adidas shirt since 1992 and has been heavily promoted by United players such as Bastian Schweinsteiger and Ander Herrera, with the hashtag #BreakExpectations used as part of the promotion campaign.
Fans will be pleased to see that the away jersey is largely similar to the home kit, only in reverse colours. The shirt continues with Adidas’s retro style towards the kit, in their first deal with the club in over 23 years.

With a V-neck and the iconic three stripes noticeable on the away strip, many United fans may feel that the kit is a throwback to some of the more retro United kits of old.
However, the kit also shares various similarities with United’s away kit in 2012/13, with a white base and red accent also noticeable on the shirt the players wore in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final and title-winning year in charge.
