Gallery: Manchester United’s new away kit

Manchester United launched their new away kit last night at an Adidas event in Pop Brixton.

The retro inspired white kit dons red stripes on the shoulders and is a real kick back to some of the older Adidas kits from the 1980s and 1990s.

There may have been a big furore over the kits but they really do look very smart and are a big improvement on the Nike kits which had been pretty dull and mundane over recent years.

Lots had been said in the build-up to the new kit launches about whether Adidas would use retro inspiration as the foundation for their new designs and it is safe to say they certainly have, much to the delight of fans.

The new away kit will be on show for the first time this Friday night in Man United’s game against Aston Villa.
