The Belgian midfielder is currently banned for three matches having been sent off in the last game of the season against Hull City, while Rojo is not yet fully match fit after being given an extended summer break due to his involvement in the 2015 Copa America tournament.
Every time you see Rojo in a United shirt, he’s got a big smile on his face. He just looks chuffed to be a United player.
As for Fellaini, he enjoyed a great year last season under Louis van Gaal so will be coming into this one with far more confidence, even if there are a certain Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin standing in the way of him.
In Rojo’s absence, Van Gaal has played Daley Blind at left centre-back and it will be interesting to see whether he keeps his place in the team once he returns.
Fellaini still has to serve a two game suspension before he can be selected by Van Gaal so all he can do is continue to work hard in training and wait for his opportunity.
