Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets believes Pedro has not had the playing time he deserves at the Spanish club.
Pedro fell down the pecking order at Barcelona last season thanks to the brilliance of Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar.
The Spaniard has been linked with a move to Manchester United as a result and reports suggest a deal is imminent.
Busquets is clearly fond of Pedro and revealed he can understand why his teammate is frustrated with the situation.
“I wish him [Pedro] the best here, or wherever he goes. He has not had all the playing time that he wanted, and that I believe he deserved,” Busquets said.
Suarez, Messi and Neymar have taken the spotlight for Barcelona recently, leading some fans to forget how brilliant Pedro has been.
Pedro was a key part of Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona side, widely regarded to be one of the best ever, and he scored against Man United in the Champions League final in 2011. United would be getting themselves a real talent if the 28-year-old does end up moving to Old Trafford.
