Memphis Depay put in a stunning display for Manchester United in their 3-1 over Club Brugge.
Memphis scored a first half brace as Man United took one step closer to the group stages of the UEFA Champions League. The youngster started on the left wing and showed just how devastating he can be cutting inside onto his right foot.
The Dutchman then went on to play a perfect pass for Marouane Fellaini to finish the game off and take a two goal cushion to Brugge next week.
Two stunning goals topped off a hugely impressive all-round display from the 21-year-old and United fans were delighted to see their new number 7 hit the ground running at Old Trafford.
Memphis is gonna be a legend at this club.

Can see Memphis has been threatening this kind of performance for a couple of games, was just trying too hard. Happy it's paying off. #mufc

I hope Louis Van Gaal's philosophy is to pass the ball to Memphis at all times… #MUFC pic.twitter.com/PnciVEgjF5

Rio Ferdinand and Glenn Hoddle comparing Memphis' movement for second goal to Marc Overmars. A goal made in Holland, they say. #mufc

Absolutely stunning stuff from Memphis! I can't decide which goal was better but they were both pure class.

Brilliant half from Memphis. Two goals as good as Old Trafford has seen for a while. And he just looks such a natural fit on that left side.

Having failed to set the world alight in his first two Premier League games, Memphis had a point to prove coming into his first European match with United.
He didn’t disappoint, scoring two stunning goals after the Reds fell behind to a Michael Carrick own-goal.
Memphis will now look to carry this good form into the league as Louis Van Gaal’s men look forward to the visit of Newcastle United on Saturday.
