Manchester United are looking to continue their impressive return to Champions League life with a win against Club Brugge at the Jan Breydel stadium on Wednesday night.
United’s 3-1 victory in the first leg featured an outstanding individual display from Memphis, who scored two and assisted one in United’s first game in the Champions league in over a year. The Dutchman therefore looks set to regain his spot midweek.
United will more than likely hand another start to Sergio Romero, with David De Gea‘s future still unresolved, while Louis van Gaal will continue with the same back four for the return leg in Belgium.
It is in midfield where we hope to see a change with Ander Herrera coming back into the starting XI.
The Spaniard has been pushed to the side once again by Van Gaal, just like he was last season, but could he help United’s current issue in attack where poor finishing and a lack of tempo up front is stifling the lack of goalscoring threat.
