Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has insisted that Barcelona winger Neymar will sign a new contract with Barcelona despite rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United.
Ed Woodward’s trip to Barcelona last week, which was supposedly centred around a potential deal for Pedro, is thought to have involved talks over a potential switch to Old Trafford for Neymar instead.
However, Neymar’s agent has since dismissed the speculation surrounding his client.
According to Balague, the 23-year-old will sign a new contract with Barcelona despite having three years left on his current one.
Neymar will renew his contract with Barcelona. But before he signs it, more stories will come out to put pressure to FCB. It is an old game

News of Pedro’s move to Chelsea sparked rumours surrounding Neymar’s future and the story was initially dismissed. However, with Woodward reportedly willing to meet the player’s astronomical €190m release clause, United’s interest appears genuine.
Neymar’s irrefutable brilliance on the ball and boundless confidence is an asset which would benefit any team. But given the 23-year-old’s imperious partnership with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, he isn’t likely to be keen on a move to England.
Talk of the Brazilian wanting to extend his time at Barcelona, who are establishing themselves as Europe’s finest under Luis Enrique once again, comes as no surprise.
