Manchester United’s 18-man squad are on their way to Belgium ahead of the Champions League playoff second leg clash against Club Brugge on Wednesday.

However, they will be without David de Gea, Antonio Valencia and Andreas Pereira, who were all excluded from the matchday squad.

Man United take a strong 3-1 aggregate lead to the Jan Breydel stadium but Louis van Gaal will undoubtedly warn his players against complacency.

Here are a selection of images as United continued their exploits in Europe:

The first leg victory was largely down to a fantastic performance from Memphis Depay, who scored twice and set up Marouane Fellaini for a third late on.

Van Gaal will be hoping for a similar impact from the Dutch youngster in the second leg as an away goal would effectively end the tie as a contest. Whatever happens, it is crucial that United make the group stages of Europe’s elite competition after missing out last year.
