Manchester United have officially unveiled their new black third kit after qualifying for the Champions League group stages with a 4-0 win against Club Brugge on Wednesday night.
The shirt is similar to the home and away strips but black with red stripes.
However, the shorts are a bit more exciting this time around, with a grey graphic running down them.
The shorts may not be to everyones taste but they are a bit of a kick back to the pattern on the 1991/92 away kit, so there is another little bit of retro inspired design here from Adidas which is another nice touch.
A lot has been said about Adidas’ kit launches and whether they have been over the top for what is effectively just another kit but they really are spot on.
It’s the best set of kits United have had in a long time, so here’s hoping this is a repeating annual pattern whenever they release a new set.
