Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal and his assistant Ryan Giggs shared a hilarious, quizzical look during the Reds 4-0 win over Club Brugge.
Man United were already four goals to the good when they were awarded a penalty and the chance to notch an impressive fifth away goal.
Regular penalty-taker Wayne Rooney, who had already bagged a hat-trick, passed on his duties to Javier Hernandez in an attempt to help the Mexican get his first goal of the season.
However, Hernandez pulled out his best John Terry impression as he slipped and put the ball wide of the post.
With the tie already in the bag, most United fans could see the funny side. Their ever-serious manager did not.
Van Gaal and Giggs held a comical stare-off, with the Welshman being the first to blink and react to Hernandez’s underwhelming attempt.
Thankfully, it was all smiles at full-time as United booked their place in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League with a resounding 7-1 aggregate victory.
