Louis van Gaal: Adnan Januzaj set to miss Swansea clash

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has revealed that Adnan Januzaj is set to miss the game against Swansea City this weekend after picking up an injury in midweek.

Meanwhile, Marcos Rojo played 60 minutes in Man United U21’s friendly against Ajax on Thursday.

Januzaj’s injury means Ander Herrera may be handed a start in the No.10 role against Swansea which would delight United supporters.

The Spaniard was excellent there against Club Brugge earlier in the week, setting up Wayne Rooney before scoring himself.

Fans will also be encouraged to see Rojo back in action following his exploits with Argentina this summer in the Copa America.

However, Rojo faces a battle to get back in the team. Daley Blind and Chris Smalling have impressed at the heart of defence in his absence and United have looked far more solid defensively than they did last season.
