Olympique Lyon have wished striker Anthony Martial luck ahead of his move to Manchester United.
The 19-year-old French prodigy passed his medical yesterday ahead of a €36m move, which is expected to be announced imminently.
Martial joined Lyon’s youth setup at the age of 14, quickly rising to prominence after scoring 32 goals in 21 games for the U17s, resulting in a call up to the first-team and he has since gone on to make a big impression at Monaco which earned him a move to Man United.
Lyon, who still clearly hold the young starlet in fond memory, wished the striker good luck for his upcoming challenge with United.

The French side has an incredible record when it comes to producing homegrown talent; Alexandre Lacazette, a rumoured United target, is an archetypal example of Lyon’s eminent youth system and their ability to churn out menacing goalscorers. Karim Benzema, the most high profile Lyon graduate to date, and another supposed United target, is another telling example.
As Martial assumes the role of second striker at United, supporters will hope to see this promising young striker follow a similar path.
