Anthony Martial is excited to have completed his move to the ‘biggest team in England’ and is proud to be a Manchester United player.
The 19-year-old was not on anybody’s radar at any point this summer in terms of a new striker being brought in but he has become Man United’s new No.9 after some very quick negotiations.
United’s interest in Martial only appeared on Sunday night after the 2-1 defeat to Swansea and a deal was pushed through in less than two days, with the announcement coming less than an hour before the deadline closed.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all had their names linked with Martial across the summer at various points but he’ll now be calling Old Trafford home.
Writing on his official Twitter account, he said: “Very proud to be able to wear the colors [sic] of the biggest English club @ManUtd ”

Something which has immediately struck me about Martial is how he has discussed the pressure of being a United player.
He has immediately welcomed it and embraced it in much the same fashion as Memphis Depay when he completed his move to Old Trafford. That sort of confident attitude, which some mistake for cockiness, is something he’ll need in abundance if he is going to be a success at United.
Some youngsters fail to live up to their expectations but having spoke to a few experts who have all seen a lot of Martial in action, they are all convinced he is going to become a great player in the future if injuries don’t plague his career.
