Lyon forward Nabil Fekir has admitted that he would love to play for Manchester United one day.
The Frenchman also insisted that Man United have got themselves an excellent player in Anthony Martial.
Fekir has been linked with a move to Arsenal and has scored four goals for Lyon so far this term as they try to challenge Paris Saint-Germain for the Ligue 1 title.
“Playing for Manchester United one day? Why not. it’s a club that makes you dream, but we’re not there yet,” said Fekir.
“The need to have a good season at Lyon comes first, and then, we’ll see. Anthony is a very good player, I played with him at Lyon. Of course, it’s a lot of money. We know that clubs are capable of spending these amounts on good players.”
Martial became the most expensive teenage signing in football when United sealed his signature on transfer deadline day. The 19-year-old gives United some much needed pace and could be the catalyst for their attack clicking into gear.
The fact that Martial, who has been likened to Thierry Henry, can play as a striker and across the attacking midfield gives Louis van Gaal options now with Wayne Rooney suffering from a poor start to the season.
The general consensus is that Juan Mata will move into a No.10 role with Martial and Depay on the flanks but he can also play as the striker with Rooney in the hole behind him.
