Adnan Januzaj took less than 20 minutes to score his first Borussia Dortmund goal on his debut against St. Pauli.
The 20-year-old Belgian midfielder received a pass on the edge of St. Pauli’s box before some quick feet created him some space and although his shot took a big deflection, he can take plenty of credit for some great footwork.
It’s great to see Januzaj getting off to a quick start at Dortmund as that is exactly what Manchester United fans want to see.
Dortmund are only playing St. Pauli in a friendly tonight but in terms of earning himself a place in their starting XI for competitive games, scoring 20 minutes into his debut is the right way to go about it.
Januzaj was given the No.10 role against St. Pauli and we’ll bring you a match report later on taking a look at his overall performance.
