Should Anthony Martial start for Manchester United against PSV?
It’s the main question which fans are talking about ahead of tomorrow night’s kick-off and there is a logical argument for either side of the debate.
On the one hand, protecting Martial by removing him from the limelight straight away could be a method which cools the hype and expectation around him.
On the other, why take him out of the spotlight when he earned the opportunity himself? Why not let Martial ride the wave which he created thanks to his wonderful goal against Liverpool?
Here’s what our followers on Twitter had to say when we posed the question to them:
@PeoplesPerson_ no Wilson should start and Martial after 60 minutes

@PeoplesPerson_ Fellaini to start, PSV won't know how to deal with him. But Memphis LW, Young RW and Mata CAM. Actually put some crosses in.

@PeoplesPerson_ Wilson is knocking the door fr too long. It's time we give him a stage to perform. PSV will b perfect fr tht. Martial as sub

@PeoplesPerson_ Yes. But expectations need to be managed. He is still only 19 and will have bad matches.

@PeoplesPerson_ I don't think LVG will put pressure on Martial. He'll rather go for Fellani or Depay as striker while Young on the left.

@PeoplesPerson_ not yet, Fellaini plays better in international competitions and Wilson is in the squad so for me he is a better choice

@PeoplesPerson_ Yes, better than Fellaini up top. But we shouldnt put pressure on him if there isn't enough already. Just 19, give him time.

@PeoplesPerson_ yes! it's an environment he knows, not as much pressure as the PL. I think he can do very well.
