Manchester United have confirmed that Luke Shaw has suffered a double fracture of his right leg.
The youngster was on the wrong end of an awful challenge from Hector Moreno during Man United’s 2-1 defeat against PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday night.
Shaw received treatment from a number of medics on the pitch and was eventually given oxygen as he was stretched off.
He was taken to a local hospital and will have an operation on his return to Manchester.

The injury was a sickening one which was devastating to see, particularly as the 20-year-old worked so hard over the summer before making a brilliant start to the campaign.
Fortunately, Shaw has age on his side and he has plenty of time to recover and come back stronger. He will have the support of the club and all the supporters as he begins his long battle back to fitness.
