Luke Shaw might not be able to play for Manchester United today against Southampton but he’ll be watching in support.
The 19-year-old will be desperately disappointed not to be able to play against his former club Southampton today but after the week he has had, he’ll probably be glad to simply watch the game.
Shaw’s had a week from hell. After his double leg fracture in the PSV Eindhoven, he’s undergone multiple surgeries and is now back in Manchester, all of that after he was so excited to make his UEFA Champions League debut.
Just as much as Shaw will be supporting Man United during his rehabilitation period, fans will continue to send him their best wishes for a full recovery because everyone wants to see him back in action.
Looking forward to watching super Sunday today! Wish I was out there though! Come on lads @ManUtd

It’s such a shame that Shaw isn’t able to go back to Southampton and show them how much he has progressed since leaving because the left-back has without doubt been one of United’s best players this year.
The real question today is about who Louis van Gaal will bring in to replace Shaw. Marcos Rojo is widely expected to start but both Daley Blind and Ashley Young have been named by the Dutchman as potential alternatives as well.
It will be a tough job to completely replace what Shaw has brought to United this season, simply because he has played so well but we’ve got to move on fast as the 20-year-old is out for at least six months.
