Anthony Martial‘s blistering start in the Premier League has been more impressive than anybody could have imagined.
With three goals after two games, including his unbelievable debut strike against Liverpool, the 19-year-old French striker has settled down far quicker than he was expected to at Man United.
Even more impressive is the fact that, as it stands, after his 105 minutes of action he has a 75% shot conversion rate and nobody has a better ratio record than that. Steven Naismith and Russell Martin are the only other players who can equal that efficiency.
Talk about composure from the young lad. Not only is he scoring goals but he is burying chances with the sort of cultured finish you’d expect to see from a seasoned veteran, not a player who is fresh off the plane from France.

It’s so hard not to get overly excited about Martial at this stage. He’s started like a house on fire but what makes it so exciting is the fact he looks unfazed by it all, almost like he knew it was going to happen. His ice cold demeanour just oozes confidence and that’s why expectation is building.
The amount of revisionism among the press and opposition fans alike is staggering and hilarious; now, Martial is looking like a great prospect who is well worth the risky investment. What a waste of money, eh?
