Cruzeiro midfielder Alisson has revealed he would like to play for Manchester United in the future.

The 22-year-old has shown great promise in Brazil and admitted there are two clubs in Europe that he has a special admiration for.

The youngster would find it hard to reject both Man United and Juventus but there have been no reports suggesting a move could be on the cards, as of yet.

According to, Alisson said: “I think Juventus is a great team, I really admire Manchester United too.

“I’d like to play for one of these clubs, but I’m a professional, so if you were to get some other European team with a good offer to refuse.

“But Juventus and Manchester United are really great.”

Alisson would need to start making more of an impact for Cruzeiro in order to grab the attention of the likes of United but he is clear about what his goals are. Time will tell if the Brazilian gets his dream move but he is definitely one to keep an eye on over the years to come.

At the moment, United have an abundance of attacking midfield options and it would be very unlikely that they look to bring in another one. However, Alisson is still young and will hope he can impress enough to get on United’s radar.
