Andreas Pereira‘s stunning full debut for Manchester United against Ipswich Town in the Capital One Cup was an absolute dream for the teenage midfielder.
Since the game, the 19-year-old has continued training with the first-team and there is excitement building about tonight’s hugely important clash with Wolfsburg.
Louis van Gaal has always said he will place his belief in youngsters when possible but is there a chance he could throw Pereira into the deep end tonight?

It would be a massive call from van Gaal but Pereira showed so much composure against Ipswich that you get the impression he wouldn’t be overawed by the occasion.
Van Gaal didn’t give any clues away as to whether he’d start or not. When asked this week whether youngsters would be involved, he told reporters: “In the squad? Of course.
“So I believe that Manchester United always have youngsters in the squad but in the line-up? I don’t know.”
If Pereira went into the team, would Wayne Rooney be the player sacrificed? Probably not, after all he has captain’s privileges.
Regardless of whether Pereira starts, he should at least have a place on the bench and if United are in need of some attacking spark in the last 30 mins, he’d be a great option for van Gaal to bring on, especially with Ander Herrera likely to miss the game through injury.
