Bastian Schweinsteiger is getting excited about Manchester United’s game against Arsenal this weekend.
The game on Sunday is probably Man United’s biggest game of the season so far and for a player as decorated as Schweinsteiger, it’s the sort of occasions he looks forward and thrives on.
After another consecutive win over Wolfsburg, United come into the match in good form whereas Arsenal are under pressure following their shock defeat to Olympiacos.
That gives United a slight edge as Louis van Gaal is not under the wrong sorts of pressure on Sunday but he’ll still be hungry for the win as always.

Schweinsteiger will play a crucial role if he starts against Arsenal because their attack is fluid, dynamic and always creates chances. He’ll need to protect the defence and make sure Arsenal don’t get too much space in attack.
Michael Carrick might be available for selection but it would be a surprise to see him come straight back into the team if he hasn’t been training properly all week. As we all know, van Gaal wants his players to be as prepared as possible.
Sunday is going to be a great game. With Arsenal under pressure and United in good form, both teams want nothing but three points and there’s likely to be goals from both sides, so a player like Schweinsteiger in the middle of the park dictating things could be so important.
