Memphis Depay has arrived in the Netherlands for what is an incredibly important international break for his national team.
The Netherlands are on the verge of missing out on a spot at Euro 2016 and have two crucial qualifiers coming up against Kazakhstan and Czech Republic.
Due to poor performances so far in their group, Netherlands need Iceland to drop points in one of their last two qualifiers and also need to beat a strong Czech Republic side who will be no pushover.
Memphis has found consistent form hard to come by so far at Man United. While he may have three goals in four Champions League appearances, the 21-year-old hasn’t replicated that in the Premier League.
He did score his first Premier League goal in the win over Sunderland but was hooked off at half-time against Arsenal as he was having a poor game, so he’ll have probably welcomed the international break and some time away to collect himself.
That being said, there is arguably going to be more pressure on Memphis away with Netherlands but hopefully he can re-find some form and come back ready for the Everton game.
