Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel feels that new Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp may have already made his first mistake.
Klopp signed a contract to keep him at Anfield for four years and he feels that if he is allowed to see out his deal, he can lead Liverpool to the Premier League title.
It is a big claim from the German on his first day on the job, especially given Liverpool’s recent results and league finishes in the past few seasons. There is no doubting Klopp’s managerial nuance but it could be an extremely tough task to lead Liverpool to the top of the league.

Klopp’s new side have never won the Premier League title, coming closest in 2014 only to lose out to Manchester City. However, since then, Liverpool have struggled hugely, failing to qualify for the Champions League last year and they have got off to a poor start to this campaign.
It is a big claim from Klopp to say he can win the Premier League title within four years, especially given the fact he only signed a three year contract.
