Bastian Schweinsteiger‘s brother Tobias is enjoying seeing his sibling at Manchester United.
The midfielder made the move from his boyhood club, Bayern Munich, this summer and his brother often travels with him to games and is often at Old Trafford, supporting Man United. Schweinsteiger has quickly become a cult hero amongst the fans and has put in some brilliant performances to win them over.
United supporters are delighted to have the German at their club and it is good to see that his family feel the same. Despite being at Bayern since his schoolboy days, Schweinsteiger chose to come to England with Manchester his preferred destination and Tobias is happy to see him in the famous red shirt
He said: “On one hand, it’s great to see my brother there. On the other hand, [it is also great to] watch him in action for Manchester United.”
United fans are certainly as happy, if not more, that Bastian has come to Old Trafford. The midfielder has added some class to the Reds midfield and offers Louis van Gaal something that United haven’t had since the days of Paul Scholes. Schweinsteiger’s passing range and composure in the middle of the park have made him a joy to watch and supporters are cherishing every minute.
The German captain is currently recovering from a thigh injury sustained on international duty and it is still unsure whether he will be available for United’s trip to Everton in a week’s time. Schweinsteiger could be key to his sides chances at Goodison Park and United fans will be hoping he is fit to face the Toffees.
