Herrera has been unavailable for Man United’s last two games with an injury but revealed he was back in training earlier this week. The 26-year-old has had a good start to the season and United fans will want to see him back in action as soon as possible.
The Spaniard has the week off after he was once again overlooked for a call-up to the national team. It is good news for United, however, as it means their midfielder can recuperate from his injury and can be fit and ready for the Reds trip to Goodison Park next week.

Herrera could be key to United’s chances against Everton, as question marks still remain over Wayne Rooney‘s fitness ahead of the clash with his old club. In the absence of his skipper, Herrera may be asked to play in the number 10 role, a position in which he has flourished in recent times.
United supporters will be delighted to have the ex-Athletic Bilbao man back on the pitch and they will hope he can turn their fortunes around and keep the Reds within touching distance of Manchester City at the top of the table.
