Manchester United players were spotted taking time with the fans on the way home from Moscow following their 1-1 draw with CSKA on Wednesday night.

The traveling fans would have felt hard done by after watching Man United’s first half performance in the Russian capital, as the Reds went into the break a goal down after a dismal display.

However, the side came out all guns blazing in the second half and will be disappointed to have only come away with a draw after Anthony Martial‘s equaliser.

United’s supporters made themselves heard in Moscow and it was good to see the players spending time with the fans before heading back to Manchester:

The away fans have been praised on countless occasions by players both past and present and the current crop showed their appreciation en route home.

The squad will hope that their home fans are on song when they host Manchester City on Sunday. The players and supporters will both know how important the game is and a bouncing Old Trafford could be the difference between the two sides. United will want to make sure they make home advantage count in the derby and it is up to the fans to make the Theatre of Dreams a cauldron of noise and to get behind their team.
