Luke Shaw might not have been involved in the horror show against Crystal Palace but he enjoyed his own Halloween night out on Saturday.
The 19-year-old went out with friends to enjoy Halloween and it’s yet another indication of just how well his recovery is continuing to go.
He’s already in Carrington every day working on his fitness, can walk without crutches and is clearly able to enjoy himself socially as well. For somebody who lay on the grass at PSV with his leg broken only six weeks ago, it’s a testament to the medical support he’s had so far.
In his absence, Marcos Rojo has been filling in at left-back and has actually done pretty well overall but Man United are desperately missing Shaw’s overlapping runs down the left. Rojo might be able to replace him defensively but not going forward and it’s certainly contributed to United’s lack of attacking flair at the moment.
Keep up the hard work Shaw because it’s clearly paying off so far. All we can hope is that no complications happen and he’ll be able to recover as seamlessly as possible.
