Manchester United’s Luke Shaw delighted to be walking without crutches

Luke Shaw has expressed his delight after walking without crutches at the Manchester United Christmas party last night.

Shaw suffered a double fracture of his right leg during the Champions League clash against PSV Eindhoven earlier this term.

The youngster is expected to be out until March next year but he has been spotted out and about on the streets of Manchester in good shape in recent weeks.

It is hard to believe that Shaw even suffered the injury at all and the player himself has been happy with his progress:

While Shaw still has a long way to go in his recovery, it is fantastic to see him doing so well.

The Englishman was in fine form before the injury and fans had high hopes for him this season and in the European Championships in the summer. Although it is important not to rush things with Shaw, the Old Trafford faithful will want him back on the pitch as soon as possible.
