Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini seems to be fit enough to represent his national team when Belgium take on Italy and Spain.
Fellaini missed out on Man United’s 2-0 win over West Brom at Old Trafford through injury and was not even fit enough to make the bench. With the international break now upon us, his injury will hopefully not impact his club a huge amount, given the Reds do not take to the pitch for the next two weeks.
The Belgian is already back in his home country as he looks forward to the friendlies they have in preparation for the European Championships next summer. It is a good sign that Fellaini is already in Belgium, indicating that the injury isn’t too seirous and he does not need to be monitored in Manchester.

Fellaini will hope to get some playing time for his country after missing out for his club at the weekend. Belgium are currently ranked as the best team in international football and the 27-year-old will want to do enough to ensure he is on the plane to France next summer.
The former Everton man has found opportunities few and far between for his club this season, as he has been used more as an impact player. Fellaini’s performances have been nothing to write home about but he has been consistent when he has come on and always provides another option for his teammates. He will hope he can earn some match fitness for Belgium, as they start their preparation for the crucial tournament at the end of the season.
